Blue Eyeliner & Smokey Eye?!

So I have decided to go with the new trends...vibrant liners, white and black trends.

I love, love, love Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.  I then used Pop's dual bronzer to give me a little glow.  Over that I layered Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush...which I love (Thank you New BEAUTY!)  On my eyes, I used a combination of my Urban Decay Naked Palette and Urban Decay Anniversary Palette to create a bold, smokey eye.  I then lined with my new vibrant NYX electric blue liner.  Wow, what a pop!  On my lashes, Diorshow mascara, layered with my Cargo Texaslash.

So I was at America's Beauty Show and I got wrapped into the section of hair extensions.  A friend pointed out this piece...it was like a hair bra!  The girl asked if I wanted to try it on.  I figured why not??  I had no idea that I would love it soooo much.  It made my very fine, thin hair look amazing, full, voluminous.  I was shocked.  Not to mention, it was super easy to put on and take off.  Its extensions without the commitment!  I had to have it.  I went back and bought it.  Its human hair.  You can wash and style as normal.  I guess the only thing is that you need to wash with sulfite free shampoo.  More photos to follow and possibly a video to show how easy it is to put on and off.  I want more!  I love it.  http://www.halocouture.com/

New Spa Stuff for Chicago!

So I have been slacking on my blog, but I have lots of great new reviews of products!!!

This site is amazing.  They have loot, which is similar to Groupon, BUT they also have lifebooker which is an online booking site.  I love this feature because you can book directly from the site.  This way, you know that you are getting the price and deal.  Sometimes when I buy the coupons (loot, groupons, etc) I have such a hard time getting an actual appointment.  This takes away that step.

So as far as my new favorite craze products...well I have to say that I love, love, love Essie Sleek Stickers.  These are perfect for a night out when you dont have time for a mani.  I personally cannot paint my nails.  I try and try and every time it looks like a two year old did it.  I just cant do it so these are really perfect.  Not to mention, the sizes of them fit my nails.  I also have tried the Sally Hansen brand, which I am a huge fan of as well and Modicure...which I did not like at all.

I loved the tarte cheek color that was included in this test tube.  It is such a great pop of color, easily blendable, and overall, a great product.

These bad boys work like a charm.  I love putting them on.  They have a great cooling sensation.  After I take them off, no joke, wrinkles are reduced, bags are gone.  Its really amazing.

STRIVECTIN-SD Eye Concentrate


I absolutely LOVE this eye concentrate.

Yes, its expensive, but a hell of a lot cheaper than an eye lift or face lift :)

The texture of the cream is light and it just feels silky soft.  When I put it on my eyes, it gives off a slight tingling sensation.  Which, I actually enjoy.  It makes me think its working.  I truly believe that this cream, in the little amount of time that I used it so far, has made a difference in my eyes.  I did take before and after pictures that I will post on my page, however, you really cant tell.  I am telling you though from someone that knows creams, serums, etc. THIS IS WORTH IT!

I am going to buy this ASAP!  Oh and when I went shopping downtown Chicago at Macy's on Sunday...they literally had a whole display in the makeup section of this stuff and it was $69...thats $10 more dollars than on BLOOM ($59)!  BUY IT NOW!!!!!  Its going to be a huge craze.  I can feel it.

Ok, so I actually do peels very often at home myself.

I have to say that I like the convenience of Dr Dennis Gross's packets.

These handy little things are nice if you are a peeling at home novice.

There is a moist towelette that you use first (check out my video on how to use).  This is the peeling power.  It has a pepperminty smell and a slight tingle on my face the first time.  I left this on for 2 minutes, like the instructions state.  

After this, there is a moist towelette for step 2.  This one does not smell.  This is the neutralizer.

So after the five treatments, I felt that my skin felt much smoother.  I did not notice any size difference in my pores, which I would love if it did (check out my day one pic and day 5 pic...my skin definitely looks healthier).

My suggestion for sensitive skin people OR if you are nervous about how its going to work on your skin....start with a very small area and leave it on for only a minute.  The longer you leave the peel, the more action going on.

Also, like I said, this is a little pricey, HOWEVER, like I already stated, for a peel at home novice, this is PERFECT and worth the price.  I buy bottles of peeling solution and just use water as a neutralizer so this seems a little bit too expensive to me.  If you go to a spa/salon, you will basically get the same product for $50-100.  So the $5-10 per packet is worth it.

So I obivously really love this palette.  There is a perfect blend of colors, mixed with a couple that pop.  Its definitely my new favorite palette (my old one was NAKED by Urban Decay).  This palette does not have any glitter or sparkles, which was EXACTLY what I wanted.  I felt like I have grown up with my palette.  I made a great new look with this and the beau even noticed!  That is like unheard of.  He was like, "your eyes look really pretty tonight."  HA!  LOVE IT.  Check out my pics on my bloom

T'eez Build Me Volume Spray

Ok so I wash my hair like 3 times a week and almost never blow dry anymore because I am lazy, however, I just had to try out this new product that promised VOLUME!

I have very straight hair that barely can be lifted, even with a great blow out.

I spritzed this in my freshly washed and a blew dry.  WA'LAH!  I had bouncy, full, voluminuse hair that LASTED!  I was shocked.

Not to mention, the ends of my hair felt so healthy.  It was like I had just gotten a fresh cut and blow out.  Fantastic product and will use

T'eez me Bounce Styling Cream

My hair is straight and flat.

Not with this product!

I used this in combo with the volume spray and I had voluminous hair for two days which is unheard of in my world.

The product was not sticky or gooby, which is nice.  Its easy to apply and doesnt make hair feel sticky, stringy, etc while blow drying.

And yes, it gives significant volume, bounce, etc.  I still need to try beachy waves, which I am going to do tonight and if this product makes my flat hair have beachy waves, its a miracle product...no joke.
